The federal government will consider minor changes to the free trade agreement with Indonesia after Labor agreed to back it but requested some tweaks to quell internal dissent.
At a special caucus meeting convened on Thursday morning, Labor MPs agreed to enabling legislation which is required to pass before FTAs with Indonesia, Peru and Honk Kong come into force.
