Furniture giant IKEA has joined businesses expressing concern about Scott Morrison’s religious freedom laws, warning the government not to pit faith protections against workplace diversity.

Amid a push for a second parliamentary inquiry into the draft laws, business leaders and equality campaigners are concerned about new rules allowing discriminatory comments to occur in workplaces and other settings when they are made “in good faith”.
