Canberra Airport locked down after gunshots fired

Hundreds of terrified passengers and airline employees were evacuated from Canberra Airport after a lone gunman allegedly fired five shots near the terminal’s security screening zone on Sunday afternoon.
Police arrested the man and secured his gun, with officers saying the motivations for the shooting were unknown at this point. The Australian Financial Review understands it is not terrorism-related.
