Paid leave would help menopause super hit: ASFA

Paid menopause leave – similar to paid parental leave – should be considered to lessen the impact of that stage of life on women’s finances, according to the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia.

New Australian research into the financial and workplace impacts of menopause will be unveiled at an ASFA conference this week. The study, from life insurance company MetLife, was “the first of its kind in Australia”, ASFA chief executive Mary Delahunty said.
