MYOB allegedly manipulating users into joining its sub-par super fund
Accounting software giant MYOB has been accused of funnelling members into Slate Super, an underperforming, high-fee superannuation fund it owns, through online marketing techniques that appear to work around laws on stapling workers to a single fund.
Financial Services Minister Stephen Jones is already reviewing how companies could be circumventing these regulations and follows a slew of warnings from industry groups about such workarounds.
