Sydney Uni sets agenda for new academic roles

A “torturous” two-year negotiation has finally landed a new enterprise agreement at the University of Sydney that has laid the way forward for the decasualisation of the academic workforce and the creation of more teaching roles.
The agreement was arrived at after staff took to picket lines for nine days during negotiations.
