$9b rebound in renewables projects keeps 2030 in sight

Some $2.4 billion of solar, wind and battery projects that reached financial close in the December quarter have helped make 2024 the busiest year for clean energy project commitments for six years.

But the pace would need to be maintained for the next 24 quarters to reach the 2030 renewables target, while the projects also need to be built and connected into the grid.
