Worker moves hit decade high as labour pool shrinks

Almost one in 10 workers changed jobs last year as Australia’s tight labour market sparked what has been dubbed a great reshuffle, while the potential pool of workers shrank over the same period.
About 1.3 million, or 9.5 per cent, of workers moved to greener pastures in the year to February, which was about 30 per cent higher than the year prior, and some experts believe it could hit 15 per cent later this year.
