Victoria’s powerful industrial unions are ramping up pressure on the Andrews government to lift a 1.5 per cent public sector pay cap in the same week a 3 per cent increase in NSW failed to allay strike action.

Victorian Communications and Public Sector Union (CPSU) officials wrote to Victorian Treasurer Tim Pallas on Wednesday urging the government to adjust a 1.5 per cent public sector pay cap which has been in place since 2020.
