Victoria’s Premier insists Melbourne’s strict lockdown will get COVID-19 cases back to zero, but delta makes this year look very different to last year.

The result is that although Victoria’s cases are much lower than NSW, and will probably remain so, both are in the same miserable position of indefinite closure.
