‘Closing loopholes’ law opens minefields for freelancers
A new layer of regulation might (or might not) come into play every time technology is used by innovative organisations.

So, let’s take the extensive new scheme for the “gig-economy”, or “employee-like” work as a case in point.
First, the new laws insert a definition of employment into the Fair Work Act for the first time, to contrast against what is “employee-like”.
