Senex Energy , as operator for the PRL 15 JV with Beach Energy , reports the Growler-6 appraisal well has been drilled, cored and cased and suspended as a future production well. Core and wireline logs confirmed the presence of a 17m gross oil column in the Birkhead Formation over the interval 1735m to 1752m with interpreted net oil pay of at least 6m.
