Qantas leads employer split over no jab, no job

Qantas is leading a split in the Business Council of Australia by requiring its employees get vaccinated against COVID-19 without the backing of government health orders for the aviation industry.

The airline’s chief executive Alan Joyce said on Wednesday any staff that refused the COVID-19 vaccination as part of the airline’s new no-jab, no-job policy will have decided that “aviation is not the area for them”.
