Washington | McDonald's is suing its former chief executive to recover his severance and compensation package, alleging he lied about having affairs with multiple employees and covered up the evidence.
The fast food giant made the announcement on Monday (Tuesday AEST) in a regulatory filing. Steve Easterbrook was terminated on November 3, 2019, after the board of directors determined he had violated company policy by engaging in "a consensual relationship with an employee", McDonald's said.
