Anecdotally, they are known as “oops” babies, unexpected pregnancies reported by women using popular weight loss drugs such as Ozempic and Wegovy.

Scientists say these accounts from women – including some using oral contraceptives or previously diagnosed as infertile – who are taking drugs such as Ozempic and Wegovy for weight loss and diabetes should not be ignored.
