George Bancs is founder and managing director of trade services provider Main Facilities, and founder of the workplace health and safety tool Talk5 and the video discovery social-media platform Wweevv.

When did you start racing and why?
My love for cars and motorcycles started when I was eight or nine. My uncle visited our home on his new Honda CBR 1000RR bike and took me around the block (back then, regulations and safety concepts were very different). That ride ignited in me the need for speed. The feeling of controlling a machine that moved three times faster than a cheetah was overwhelming. I continued to push the boundaries growing up, buying fast cars and motorcycles and racing on the street. I was learning to race the hard way – uncontrolled, unmeasured, and somewhat reckless.
