How did you get into sailing?
I first got into sailing in Wales in 1993, when a colleague needed someone to crew his laser sailing dinghy. I knew absolutely nothing about sailing, and he had invited me to join him in a race. I think he must have been quite frustrated with me, as we spent a lot of the time capsizing his boat. We came last, but I enjoyed it so much. When I moved to Australia, sailing became even more attractive because of the warmer weather and stunning coastline.
