Hunkered down at home, between Zoom-ercise sessions and Instagram cooking classes with Massimo Bottura, somehow I’m finding time to read up a storm.

Actually, I know how: it’s because my local bookstore is doing home deliveries, with a smile (as they place the parcel at my front door and wave their way down the drive). While it’s tempting to use Amazon, I figure Jeff Bezos doesn’t need to add my dime to his $US140.5 billion ($216.1 billion) fortune, but my local bookstore can sure do with a little love.
