Tourism company SeaLink Travel Group's diversification into the steadier transport sector through the $635 million acquisition of bus operator Transit Systems has delivered an early win, with the bus group expanding its contracts in the latest round of privatisations in South Australia.
Transit Systems on Tuesday was awarded a new bus contract in the outer northern suburbs of Adelaide and retained existing contracts which it had operated in other regions of the city since 2000 and 2018, respectively.
