‘Flat out’ Kelsian Group tips summer boom as domestic tourism lifts
The chief executive of tourism and commuter bus company SeaLink Travel Group, which has officially changed its name to Kelsian Group Ltd, expects a booming summer holiday period which will then extend to strong bookings through February and March.
Clint Feuerherdt said on Friday that popular holiday spots which are important money-spinners for the group, including Kangaroo Island off South Australia, and Fraser Island and North Stradbroke Island in Queensland, are heavily booked over summer as domestic tourism gathers pace in a gradual reopening of Australia.
