Optus is ramping up hostilities toward Telstra and TPG’s landmark network-sharing deal, trying to paint it as risky for regional consumers in the hope the competition watchdog will quash the tie-up.
Telstra and TPG are due to soon lodge the agreement, which allows them to share infrastructure and, crucially, mobile spectrum in rural and regional areas, with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).
