Sydney Swans AFLW player Sarah Ford knows a thing or two about her new club’s home ground because the 26-year-old engineer is working on it in her day job.

Ford was told she would be a part of Sydney’s first AFLW squad on the same day her boss at Northrop Consulting Engineering said she could take the lead role redeveloping Henson Park in the city’s inner west.
