Woolworths is embarking on a major restructuring and elevating a longtime executive to oversee its supermarkets and home-brand products business as it attempts to recover from a stumble in sales growth.
Annette Karantoni, who has been the company’s chief supply chain officer since 2021, has been elevated to the position of managing director of Woolworths Retail, a new division that includes the country’s biggest supermarket chain along with home-branded products.
