Cult chicken chain El Jannah says sales will push $300m this year
The popular Lebanese outlet’s chief executive is planning to nearly triple the number of stores in the next two years as it takes on major fast-food chains.
The chief executive of El Jannah says the cult charcoal chicken chain expects revenues of up to $300 million this financial year and has ambitions to nearly triple the number of its stores by 2027.
Brett Houldin has run El Jannah, which started as a single Lebanese chicken shop in Sydney’s west to have a network of 37 stores, since 2019. He said the business was hoping to have 50 stores by June and was focused on expanding the number of drive-through locations and its breakfast menu.
