Women form a 'critical mass' of law partner promotions

Almost half of the partners appointed at Australia's top law firms in the latest promotion round were female, as a talent pipeline dominated by women continues to transform the legal profession.

The record-breaking 47.4 per cent representation of women in new partner appointments is up from 30.7 per cent in the January promotion cycle, and 31.3 per cent in 2017.
