Working remotely for almost 1 ½ years has not stopped KPMG associate director Millie Di Maio from developing strong client relationships – or being promoted.

That is despite warnings from senior consulting leaders that advisers who take advantage of flexible working rules too much will be less likely to be promoted over colleagues who spend more time working from the office or at the client’s workplace.
