College of Law stares down disquiet about high fees and cheating

The College of Law is spending millions of dollars to prop up a loss-making British venture despite concerns from the legal profession over high fees, large annual surpluses and widespread cheating.

The largest provider of the mandatory post-university course required for admission to legal practice has also paid for directors to attend multiple overseas conferences recently, while offering only two full scholarships from its $180 million in retained earnings.
