MinRes governance nightmare rages with Hesta putting it on ‘watch’

The boss of industry superannuation fund Hesta, Debby Blakey, has heaped pressure on the board of Mineral Resources and will announce on Friday she is putting the company in a special governance category for voting and potential divestment.

Meanwhile, the market regulator has formally begun an investigation into crisis-torn MinRes as proxy advisers slam directors for not clawing back more than $8 million of bonuses paid to disgraced managing director Chris Ellison.
