Farmers collect data to measure improvements, tap carbon markets

A farming mutual group is raising half a million dollars for a tech project that will allow farmers to create a “digital twin” of their properties to measure environmental improvements and open up new sources of revenue as carbon markets develop off the back of COP26.

Regen Digital, part of the Regen Farmers Mutual, has a waitlist of 230 farmers keen for it to provide an “environmental farm assessment”, to help them understand the value of environmental assets on their farms.
