David Foster out of Bendigo and Adelaide after bruising Star inquiry

David Foster has resigned from Bendigo and Adelaide Bank board months after he stepped down as chairman and requested a leave of absence amid revelations he rebelled against regulators in his other job, overseeing casino giant Star Entertainment.

Mr Foster, who was chairman of the bank until he requested a “temporary leave of absence” in April, confirmed his exit in a brief statement to investors on Monday.
