Denholm charts a path through the US-China AI wars

Tesla chairwoman Robyn Denholm says Australia should be neutral in the technology arms race between the US and China and play a bigger role in the development of artificial intelligence.

Denholm, who has chaired the electric carmaker run by Elon Musk for more than six years, is also the chairwoman of the Tech Council of Australia and is leading a review of research and development for the Albanese government. She said Australia needed to be far more ambitious and invest more in AI as major powers competed for technological dominance.
