Tesla founder Elon Musk wasn't the only technology billionaire subjected to an involuntary crash course in our national weirdness come the final weekend of September.
Computer titan Michael Dell landed in Sydney at 6:25am on Friday. The PC and logistics pioneer, valued by Forbes at US$23.4 billion ($29.9 billion), spent the day wowing staff and customers, having spent the previous few days in China. The Texan didn't even stay for dinner (let alone the footy), taking off for Los Angeles the same day at 5:44pm aboard his Gulfstream 650ER. That's a helluva trip (and fuel bill) just to motivate the troops.
