A popular gym chain has just opened its seventh new location in Adelaide – see where and look inside here.

A huge new gym will open in Adelaide’s inner-north, with Revo Fitness expanding its SA footprint across the city.

The gym chain opened a 1530sq m, multi-storey outlet in Blair Athol on Main North Rd on Tuesday, making it the seventh Revo gym in the state.

It recently opened a gym in Woodcroft measuring about 1600sq m and is also planning to open its eighth Adelaide gym in Golden Grove as part of a mixed-use development, which includes homes, a healthcare centre and childcare beside Pedare Christian College.

It’s one of several new gyms opening across Adelaide, including a 7200sq m Derrimut 24:7 gym n the former Holden Elizabeth plant – the largest gym in the southern hemisphere – one co-founded by Russell Crowe at Plympton and the inclusive Co-able Fitness gym at Port Adelaide.

Revo Fitness founder and managing director Andrew Holder said since opening in 2012, Revo has been dedicated to ensuring as many people as possible had access to affordable fitness.

“We’re so excited to expand Revo Fitness in Adelaide and we want to thank the Blair Athol community for their overwhelming response,” Mr Holder said.

“We understand the significance of exercise for maintaining a healthy mind and body and we recognise our members’ desire for flexibility in their workout routines.

“We are committed to making working out simple, affordable and accessible for everyone and are working hard to ensure our gyms reach as many people as possible.”

The multi-story Blair Athol gym boasts state-of-the-art equipment and facilities including HIITFIT, Tempo pilates and Stretch, 10 squat racks and a range of all-new cardio and weight equipment.

Members also have access to The Studio – a self-run, on-demand reformer pilates and recovery space, fitted with 11 reformers and four massage chairs.

The Blair Athol gym is offering new members a second and third month free.
