La Louisiane
Found below 89 King William Street, a dormant heritage site has been transformed into a chic French restaurant called La Louisiane. Opening on Saturday July 1, this underground Parisian-style escape offers the finest French fare, a specialised cocktail list, and lively jazz band on weekends. The experience is only available for a limited time, closing its doors in early December. As pop-up restaurants go, this is perhaps the most decadent.

Metta Sol
Opening in late June, this new Goodwood Road cafe is the latest addition to the plant-based dining scene in Adelaide. Offering a fully-vegan menu with a strong Vietnamese influence, this picture-perfect spot is just moments from the cycle track. The true drawcard at Metta Sol is not only the specialised coffee, but also the vast selection of vegan pastries created by specialised Adelaide Hills baker, Clara Cakes.

District Outlet Centre
Dubbed the “Harbour Town of north”, District Outlet Centre officially opened its doors on Saturday, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Premier Peter Malinauskus. The $50-million development has been hotly anticipated since planning started in 2020. There’s more than 50 big-name retailers, a vast array of dining options and a 600-spot carpark so no jostling for space. Learn more here.

A micro underground cocktail bar only catering to 20 at a time opened for the first time on the evening of Friday June 30 in Adelaide’s CBD. Named trap., the intimate space is nestled in a narrow lane just off Hindley Street. The focus here is on specialised cocktails, an ambient atmosphere and friendly staff.

X-Golf
West Lakes is now the home to the largest indoor golf venue in South Australia. With six state-of-the-art golf simulators, South Australians can now enjoy a round of golf on some of the world’s best courses at X-Golf. First opening in Melbourne, the Adelaide venue also offers an 18-hole mini golf course, licenced bar, and kitchen with pizzas and sliders.
