Behind its simple historic facade, the beautifully renovated Burwood Inn is one of those places where you would be happy to stay and work your way through the extensive selection of beers on tap (16), even if it didn't boast an outstanding menu. Steaks are a speciality, and no meat lover will be disappointed with the cuts or the treatment, but the sea and surrounds are equally well represented on the menu. From tasting plates to share and gourmet pizzas to local lamb, slow-cooked duck or Asian-influenced salads, the hardest part is deciding. The service makes you feel like a valued regular.
