Harvest
13.5/20
Contemporary
There's a joyful holiday vibe at Harvest. Most of the dining is outdoors, where modern white chairs, tea-light candles and white linen napkins dress up the beachy al fresco cafe feel. Eagle-eyed wait staff cruise the tables, efficient and chatty, communicating their enthusiasm for their own favourite dishes from the menu. Many have been on the menu for some time, such as the winter favourite, duck pie. Roasted, deboned spatchcock is another classic; served with truffle mash, tender green beans and cloves of soft roasted garlic swimming in ladles of rich, sticky jus. Quivering white chocolate panna cotta is vanilla scented and worth fighting over for the last sweet mouthful. Although by-the-glass choices are a little limited you'll find a bottle of bistro-friendly from France or Australasia to please from Harvest's wine list.
