The Queensland Police have released three images of missing woman Tayla Spies, the middle of which police say depicts the clothes the 28-year-old mun was wearing.

Wearing a fluoro pink shirt and driving on a country highway in a distinctive Toyota Hilux, Tayla Spies disappeared into the night and has not been in the 10 days since.

Police have now narrowed their search for the 29-year-old mum to the area around the tiny sound of Surat which is home to just 400 people.

It comes as they renew their appeal for members of the public to come forward with information about Tayla’s whereabouts.

Detective Inspector Gary Watts said police were focusing their efforts on small Maranoa town and believed Tayla was last seen there between 11-11.30am of the day she vanished.

“We did conduct some aerial searches with Polair around the Surat area with negative result,” he said.

“Along with the aerial assets, we have also had police patrols out looking for Tayla and her vehicle.

“We are hoping we can jog someone’s memory, and they come forward.”

Tayla’s friends and family have launched their own search efforts to support the police.

“We share her family’s concern,” Inspector Watts said.

“We have grave concerns about her safety, she has gone quiet in the previous times, but never for this long.

“It was her birthday a few days ago, she turned 29 and there was no contact with family which is out of character.”

Police are seeking urgent public assistance to help locate a 28-year-old woman missing from the Roma and Dalby areas since February 2, 2025.
