Abbie Chatfield ‘finally’ enjoys open relationship sex perk

She’s in an open relationship with boyfriend Konrad, but Abbie Chatfield hadn’t enjoyed the perks of their set-up – now that’s changed.

Abbie and Konrad reveal 'open relationship'

Abbie Chatfield has revealed she “finally rooted someone” after previously admitting she hadn’t been able to enjoy the benefits of her open relationship.

The outspoken influencer turned radio-host candidly opened up about her decision to be in a “non-monogamous” relationship with boyfriend, Konrad Bien-Stephens in February.

However just a few weeks after saying they were allowed to have sex with other people, Abbie admitted there was an “issue” with the set up, explaining Konrad had slept with two people while she had “no prospects in sight”.

Things have since changed for the 27-year-old, with Abbie proudly announcing on her podcast It’s A Lot that she’d got some action during a segment dedicated to her night at the 2022 Logies on the Gold Coast.

After talking about the “overwhelming” night – which saw her breakdown in tears because she struggled to get a photo of herself in her stunning gown – the conversation then turned to other things in her life.

“What else has happened? Oh yeah, I finally rooted someone which is nice. Good for me,” she said.

After making the announcement, Abbie’s producer Lem Zakharia can be heard cheering in the background.

“Sorry, I had to celebrate,” Lem said.

Abbie added: “I mean, it was nice. That’s all I’m going to say. Anyway moving on, I’m not going to give anymore details because I’m panicked.”

The former reality star, who also hosts a radio show Hot Nights with Abbie on the Hit Network was brutally criticised after she and Konrad shared their decision to open their relationship.

After sharing their relationship “kink” on her podcast, Abbie said she was bombarded with other people’s opinions on their lifestyle choice and took to Instagram to shut it down.

“Some of you f**kers are so embarassingly triggered because you’re so insecure, you’re like ‘but if you love someone’, not me, not him,” she said at the time.

“It’s fine, if that’s how you feel, be monogamous, love that for you

“But why do you care if I f**k someone else or he f**ks someone else.”

A few weeks later, she playfully shared her gripe with their romantic set-up on her radio show, telling producer Rohan “Konrad is the only one who seems to be able to get laid around here”.

“I’m upset because he’s now slept with two people and I am happy for him,” she said in March.

“But I am also like, ‘when will it be the Chatfield’s turn?’ Because I have no prospects in sight.”

She added the situation had left her “feeling like a bit of a loser” before explaining the reason was due to her busy work schedule.

“I’m so busy and I also find it really hard to find people that I want to sleep with and they don’t know who I am.”

Things may be about to get tougher as Abbie has since been announced as a new judge on The Masked Singer Australia – she’s also behind one of six shows in Channel 10’s p“Pilot Showcase”.

Abbie Chats will see the star delve into two opposite ends of a subject, an idea she said “has been a long time in the making”.

Despite an incredibly hectic schedule, Abbie still finds time to comment on current affairs, most recently weighing into the storm surrounding Melbourne influencer Mia Plecic who sparked controversy after comparing abortion rights to the anti-vax argument.
