Here’s our look at some of the under-14 and under-16 players with bright future.

UNDER-14

Will Merritt (Brothers Boys)

Will is an aggressive and tough defender who plays with passion and always energises his team.

Myles Stratton (Brothers Boys)

New to the game but always gives 100 per cent and is quickly picking up the skills. Myles is a great defensive centre and provides plenty of encouragement to his teammates.

Mason Stratton (Brothers Boys)

Has speed to burn and knows how to find the try line.

Carter Konings (Brothers Boys)

Dominates games with his hard running style and ability to break tackles.

Caleb O’Neil (Valleys Boys)

The team captain is a strong and consistent defender. The Darling Downs rep player is at home in the halfs or at lock and continues to improve every game.

Lane Madden (Valleys Boys)

A brilliant half with a super attacking game. Lane is always dangerous with a A-grade passing ability and a strong kicking game.

Kobe Johns (Valleys Boys)

Kobe is a power forward who has recently returned from a broken collarbone and brings another level of go forward to the Valleys pack. He is equally as strong in defence as he is in attack.

Max Carey (Valleys Boys)

Max is a rangy centre who can attack from anywhere on the field and has a strong defensive game. With every game Max continues to improve his skill set.

Lachie Weston (Souths Boys)
