Swift water rescue technicians successfully located and retrieved a person stranded by flood water south of Toowoomba.
Four Queensland Fire and Emergency Services crews were called to the incident about 11.20am, as Back Creek swelled with floodwater at Hirstglen.
The swift water crew used an inflatable dinghy to rescue the person from an area that was inaccessible by foot or by vehicle.
The person was uninjured.
