According to the Bureau of Meteorology the next seven days will be sunny with a bit of cloud cover.

The average April temperature in Toowoomba ranges from 14 to 24 degrees, with the Garden City in for a mostly above average week when it comes to temperatures.

The minimum sits about 14 degrees each day with maximums varying from 22 to 28 degrees.

The weekend will bring the warmest weather with Saturday ranging from 15 to 28 degrees and Sunday ranging from 15 to 27 degrees.

It will make way for a cooler start to the week with maximums sitting in the low 20s.

The change in weather is being caused by a high over Tasmania which is moving eastwards and maintaining a ridge over Queensland.
