The Sunshine Coast’s largest annual property auction will be offering a record-breaking number of properties in this year’s event.

The Ray White Coastal Living Network’s annual auction event will be hosted by the Maroochydore, Buderim, Mooloolaba, Kawana Waters and Nambour offices at Mercedes Benz Sunshine Coast on Sunday, September 22.

The ninth annual event features a record-breaking 86 properties for sale.

Past auctions have sold a total of 438 properties, equating to $271m in sales with a 96 per cent success rate in selling.

Auctioneer and Ray White Maroochydore director Dan Sowden said the agency takes great pride in providing an “unparalleled selling experience” with great marketing scale and reach on the Sunshine Coast offering the best chance for exceptional sale results.

One of the standout properties highlighted by Ray White is an 1148sq m property at 12-14 Carroll St, Nambour featuring eight flats and a potential return of $187,000 to $208,000 per annum

Real estate agent Ryan Aldred labelled the offering as a rare opportunity, presenting a chance to secure a “complete, income-generating asset in one seamless transaction”.

“It’s a high-income, low-maintenance asset with no body corporate fees, offering complete flexibility and control to the savvy investor,” Mr Aldred said.

Another standout jewel of the auction is a stunning “Palm Springs-inspired masterpiece” at 7 Sorensen Ave, Buderim boasting four bedrooms, three bathrooms and breathtaking 180-degree views.

Listing agent Greg Ward said the home is ideal for modern family living and is expected to attract many keen buyers.

“The home is crafted with nothing but the finest materials, with unparalleled quality finishes, ensuring every detail exudes luxury,” he said.

One of the most eye-catching features at 10 Orient Court, Buderim is a striking pool made out of a shipping container, boldly labelled as “China Shipping”.

The four bedroom, three bathroom home was designed by its current owners Stu Faid and his wife Nat who took advantage of the property’s 6m elevation.

With “minimal touch ethos” and visual aesthetic in mind, the couple ultimately landed on Sunshine Coast business Shipping Container Pools as a solution to their challenge.

“Once we knew we would be doing a shipping container pool, we really wanted to lean into it and take the chance to incorporate more of our personal story into the build,” Ms Faid told the Ray White agency.

“Having moved internationally as a family a few times, we always used China Shipping containers when moving our life from one country to another. The opportunity to incorporate a nod to that chapter of our life into the build was too good to miss.

“It also unashamedly reinforces the origins of the pool construction, which ties into the rest of the design in the house.”
