Lawn Espresso wins Sunshine Coast’s best coffee vote of 2025
The owner of a Sunshine Coast cafe has expressed her thanks after winning the title of region’s best coffee.

The owner behind a “local hub” on the Sunshine Coast has thanked those who helped them win the title of “best coffee” in the region for a second time.
Lawn Espresso in Yandina won the Sunshine Coast’s best coffee competition after more than a month of voting.
Owner Kaye Warn said it felt “absolutely amazing” to win, and she did not expect to take the top prize among so many nominees.
Ms Warn’s cafe also won the title of best coffee on the Sunshine Coast in 2019
“Even though my staff and I work really hard to maintain high standards, we didn’t expect to win,” she said.
Lawn Espresso has become well-loved by residents and visitors since Ms Warn procured the shop more than seven years ago.
“It’s a bit of a local hub, and friendships, as well as all sorts of other connections, have been made,” she said.
Ms Warn thanked those who voted for their love and support, describing the win as “so special” and an endorsement to her “gorgeous staff”.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart,” she said.
The cafe’s baristas ensure every beverage served is “the best it can be”, and a wide range of cakes and goodies which complement their coffee are also on offer.
“The baristas at Lawn have been trained to make coffee to our customer’s personal preferences, and I think that’s the true secret to our success,” Ms Warn said.
Ms Warn said her team try their hardest to “honour the amazing product” which they receive from their personal roaster.
Beans used to brew coffee at Lawn Espresso are “expertly roasted” by Naoyuki Kitajima from Yamaneco Roaster.
