Teen taken to hospital after motorbike crash on Urunga Esplanade, Mooloolaba

A teenager involved in a motorbike crash on the Sunshine Coast overnight has been taken to hospital with minor injuries.

A teenager involved in a motorbike crash overnight has escaped with minor injuries.

The single-motorcycle crash occurred on Urunga Esplanade at 10.06pm on Friday, May 16.

Queensland Ambulance Services said they attended the scene and assessed a male teenager with minor torso lacerations.

They said they took the boy in a stable condition to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

A Queensland Fire Department spokesperson said one crew briefly attended the scene and left in the hands of Queensland Ambulance Service.
