Emergency crews rush to B-double crash on Bruce Hwy at Eerwah Vale

A truck driver has had a lucky escape after he rolled his B-double truck crashed on the Bruce Hwy.

A truck driver has had a lucky escape after the B-double he was driving left the Bruce Hwy and crashed into shrubs early this morning.

Emergency crews rushed to the major highway at Eerwah Vale about 12.30am on Friday after the heavy vehicle left the road heading northbound and crashed near the Cooroy Gympie Rd on ramp.

The accident caused the road to be closed briefly with the driver being assessed by paramedics. He had no injuries and declined transport.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said officers were not investigating the crash, with fire crews attending the scene to assist. They left the scene at 2.30am.
