An investigation is under way after a man was left fighting for life following a horror fall from a ladder at a Sunshine Coast workplace. He remains in hospital in Brisbane.

An investigation is under way after a man was left fighting for life following a horror workplace fall on the Sunshine Coast on February 13.
A Workplace Health and Safety Queensland spokeswoman said the department was investigating a construction incident, but could not comment further as it was ongoing.
Paramedics were called to the workplace in Newspaper Pl, Maroochydore, after a man fell from a ladder and sustained significant head and leg injuries.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the man was flown to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition.
Multiple paramedic crews were called to the scene at 2.25pm on Tuesday afternoon.
Several businesses on Newspaper Pl told the Sunshine Coast Daily they saw four ambulances rush down the street.
The rescue chopper was called soon after paramedics arrived and has landed at the Sunshine Coast airport to take the patient to hospital.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said police had not been called.
