A Sunshine Coast woman has suffered serious injuries after she reportedly drove through a roundabout and smashed into a concrete pole in Coolum Beach.

A Sunshine Coast woman is in a serious but stable condition after she crashed into a concrete pole in Coolum Beach.
Paramedics and police rushed to David Low Way about 9.40pm on Monday July 5, 2022, after a 32-year-old Coolum Beach woman crashed into a building pillar near several businesses.
A Queensland Police spokesman said initial investigations suggest the woman was travelling north along David Low Way when she went through the Elizabeth St roundabout and hit a pole along the footpath.
The woman suffered facial, abdominal and pelvic injuries and was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Police are investigating.
