Mr De St Amatus appeared in court in person, but Dr De St Amatus did not.

The court was told the lawyers for Dr and Mr De St Amatus had applied for an “expensive case grant” due to more than 2000 documents being part of the brief of evidence.

Emily Dring, who was representing Benedict De St Amatus, said she was in the process of counting the pages of all the documents.

Both matters were adjourned until the March criminal callover in the Maroochydore District Court.
