Police are pleading for information after a teenager was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle crash on the Sunshine Coast.

Police are investigating after a crash down an embankment on a major Sunshine Coast road left a teenager with life-threatening injuries.
Emergency crews were called to a crash near a roundabout at the junction of Emu Mountain and Murdering Creek roads, Peregian Springs, about 5.20pm yesterday, January 9.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the forensic crash unit was investigating the circumstances of the crash and were appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or had dashcam footage to come forward.
Paramedics treated two people.
Paramedics said the teenager, a boy, was trapped in the vehicle that had gone down an embankment and received life-threatening injuries.
He was taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
A man in his 50s was uninjured and declined further assistance.
A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said crews found the teen trapped in his vehicle about 5.40pm.
A rescue helicopter was also called to the scene.
A Sunshine Coast University Hospital spokeswoman said the teenage patient remained in a critical condition this morning, January 10.
Fire engulfs caravan in popular holiday park
Emergency services are working to put out a fire in a popular holiday park that has engulfed at least one caravan.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said three crews were initially called to the caravan fire in a holiday park on Beerburrum St in Dicky Beach, with more crews currently heading to the scene.
He said the caravan was completely engulfed by fire and there were fears it could spread to other vehicles.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said no one from the holiday park required any treatment.
Man rushed to hospital after near-drowning
A man has been rushed to hospital after being pulled from the water at a popular Maroochydore swimming spot.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said the man was swimming in the river at Cotton Tree when paramedics were called.
He said it was not yet known whether the man suffered a medical episode in the water.
The spokesman said the man was taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
Man falls 20m in shock paragliding drama; woman bitten by snake
A man has been rushed to a Sunshine Coast hospital after falling about 20m in a paragliding incident at a popular Noosa beach.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics were called to the Teewah Beach track at Teewah Beach about 5.40pm yesterday, January 6.
The ambulance spokeswoman said a man in his 30s was treated for back and chest pain after falling about 20m during the incident.
She said the man was then flown to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital by rescue helicopter.
Meanwhile, a woman in her 40s was taken to Nambour Hospital following a reported snake bite at a private address at Hunchy, west of Palmwoods, at 7.32pm.
