While a good night out never comes cheap, three local partygoers were left nearly $2500 out of pocket after a wild night out at a Kingaroy bar got grossly out of hand.
Police were called to a licensed premise on Youngman St at 1.25am on Sunday, July 11, when a 35-year-old Kingaroy man and a 31-year-old Kingaroy became involved in an altercation.
Both men were slapped with $827 infringement notices for creating a public nuisance, Senior Sergeant David Tierney said.
At the same time, police also found a 27-year-old Kingaroy man who was resisting efforts by his friends to calm down and go home, instead choosing to behave in a disorderly manner.
He ignored a number of warnings by police about his behaviour and was issued with a $827 infringement notice for creating a public nuisance.
